Role Overview
Join a highly skilled team of senior .NET Software Engineers in a modern office located in Dublin City, working four days a week on-site. This position emphasizes the integration of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to streamline coding, testing, refactoring, and documentation efforts, significantly accelerating project delivery times.
Technology Environment
Work with cutting-edge technologies including .NET 10, C# 14, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and React within a monolithic architecture hosted on Microsoft Azure cloud platforms (Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance). Utilize SQL Server with robust data modeling, query optimization, Entity Framework, and T-SQL. Development is supported by Visual Studio Enterprise 2026 and follows modern Git-based CI/CD workflows alongside automated testing and comprehensive code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable .NET applications and APIs.
- Convert requirements into efficient, maintainable code with high standards and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, cloud, security, and data engineering to deliver and maintain production-ready systems.
- Adopt engineering best practices such as CI/CD, testing, and secure coding including responsible AI tool usage.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years of experience in .NET development, preferably with ASP.NET Core, API development, SQL, Azure technologies, and React or similar SPA frameworks.
- Understanding of enterprise security principles focusing on authentication and authorization, with knowledge of OAuth, Entra ID, or similar identity management technologies favored.
- Demonstrates a proactive ownership mindset and eagerness to learn and improve continuously.
- Collaborative team player who values input and feedback.
- Familiarity with software design best practices like SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design, design patterns, and CI/CD methodologies.
Additional Information
An EU Passport or valid Stamp 4 is essential for this role.
