Motion Designer

Role Overview

Transform static images into dynamic animations and bring still visuals to life with rhythm, much like the iconic fight scenes in classic movies. Whether crafting brand trailers, case videos, or social media reels, you will design and edit memorable motion brands that captivate audiences. Proficiency in standard animation tools and storyboard development is essential. Join a dedicated creative team based in Bayreuth.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate brands into dynamic motion visuals for diverse clients and platforms.
• Develop detailed storyboards prior to animation production.
• Edit and refine videos including image films, recruitment clips, social content, and reels using established editing software.
• Create animations that clearly communicate complex information through motion graphics.
• Design graphics with an eye for shapes, colors, typography, and flow.
• Incorporate sound design, music, and timing to enhance motion content's impact.
• Take full ownership of projects or specific segments for clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in motion design and video editing; agency experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proficient with common motion design and video editing tools, including animation presets, expressions, and motion graphics templates.
• Utilize AI tools where beneficial without compromising creative concepts.
• Comfortable handling graphic and design assets ranging from vectors to motion visuals.
• Keen sense for composition, color schemes, typography, and rhythmic flow.
• Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender is beneficial but not required.
• Strong imaginative skills to visualize media content prior to creation, accompanied by creativity, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and empathy, valuing collaboration and interpersonal dynamics.
• Quick adaptability to client themes and brands driven by enthusiasm.
• Fluency in German required; English proficiency at B2 level is desirable.
