Role Overview
As a Merchandiser within the sales team, your main objective is to enhance the visibility and presence of PepsiCo products on shelves across all assigned retail outlets. Tasks may include conducting in-store sampling and promotional activities as required. Compliance with planograms for both on- and off-shelf displays is essential; any discrepancies should be promptly reported to the pre-seller. Additionally, the role involves providing up-to-date market insights to help capitalize on sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned on-trade (OT) outlets daily according to the journey plan from your supervisor.
- Merchandise PepsiCo products across various access points including shelves, stands, and floor displays in your OT stores.
- Install point-of-sale (POS) materials alongside PepsiCo displays where applicable.
- Ensure all access points are merchandised following approved planograms.
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation, removing any sub-standard items.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked display of PepsiCo products at all times.
- Monitor competitor activities and report findings.
- Report deviations from agreed terms with assigned OT customers or outlets.
- Provide daily activity reports to your supervisor.
- Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns as required.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct as per Frito Lay's code of conduct.
