Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role entails conducting site inspections aligned with mechanical Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance and quality in mechanical installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough inspections of mechanical works on site ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Oversee installation activities relating to HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
- Ensure all mechanical work complies with quality standards, safety protocols, and local authority regulations.
- Inspect materials and review method statements and inspection requests.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to address and resolve technical and quality-related issues.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, snag lists, and daily progress updates.
- Verify and participate in testing and commissioning phases of mechanical systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 9 years of professional experience in relevant mechanical inspection roles.
- Experience with villa, residential, or community development projects is preferred.
- Strong expertise in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and related mechanical infrastructure systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Abu Dhabi standards and authority regulations.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Prior experience working in the UAE is mandatory.
