Role Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe bending, joining, fitting alongside inspection, testing, and diagnosing faults in relevant systems.
  • Identify materials and carry out rothernberger brazing; install and maintain fuel storage and distribution, fire control, natural and LPG gas systems, as well as various water and heating systems including cold water storage tanks, hot water cylinders, calorifiers, hot water services, and flue verifications.
  • Maintain compressed air and steam piping systems.
  • Execute pre-commissioning activities for plumbing, mechanical services, and air handling units.
  • Possess understanding of industrial/process gases and liquids, medical gases, electrical controls for heating and air conditioning systems, plumbing networks, solid fuel and oil-fired boiler units, pumps, air conditioning, and roof-related work.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications effectively; plan tasks; perform basic electrical work, fabricate brackets; operate oxy-acetylene welding and cutting, bronze welding, soldering, manual metal arc welding, and tungsten inert gas welding.
  • Conduct site setting out, measuring, transferring levels, ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, adhere strictly to safety standards, scaffolding, and rigging procedures.

  • Manual Handling training
