Role Overview
We seek an experienced, meticulous, and innovative Event and Marketing Coordinator to join our hospitality and events team in Qatar. Candidates must demonstrate Middle East work experience and capacity to handle diverse event scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, and execute corporate, wedding, private, activation, and hospitality events.
- Engage with clients directly to gather expectations, budgets, and event concepts.
- Manage collaborations with suppliers, decorators, florists, entertainers, hotels, and other event stakeholders.
- Create proposals, presentations, quotations, schedules, checklists, and operational timelines.
- Oversee event setup, on-site management, guest experience, and post-event activities.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development and new event acquisition.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal operations, culinary, marketing, procurement, and finance teams.
- Ensure adherence to budgets, quotation evaluations, deadlines, payments, and document handling.
- Support the social media team by generating content ideas, campaign briefs, coverage plans, and promotional concepts.
- Comprehend brand identities, target demographics, services, and communication protocols.
- Manage customer inquiries professionally via multiple channels including social media, WhatsApp, email, and meetings.
- Assist in photoshoots, content generation, brand activations, influencer partnerships, and marketing campaigns.
- Produce regular analytical reports concerning upcoming events, leads, customer feedback, supplier assessment, and marketing efforts.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior work experience within the Middle Eastern region is essential.
- Demonstrated ability managing events of varying scale, from intimate to large.
- Exceptional communication aptitude with clients, guests, suppliers, and partners.
- Proficient negotiation and coordination abilities directly with suppliers and contractors.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and presentation software.
- Arabic language proficiency is strongly preferred alongside good English communication skills.
- Capability to multi-task and operate effectively under pressure.
