Overview
We seek a proficient Manual Test Specialist to thoroughly assess enterprise integration platforms and their applications. This role involves close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and solution architects aimed at delivering top-quality software solutions.
Key Duties
- Devise and conduct manual test cases to ensure software integrity.
- Execute various testing types including Functional, Regression, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate APIs and middleware connections thoroughly.
- Detect, report, and monitor software defects utilizing defect tracking systems.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and produce detailed execution reports.
- Work closely with multiple teams across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Required Expertise
- At least four years of hands-on Manual Testing experience.
- Proficient in Integration and API Testing methodologies.
- Understanding of REST APIs and SOA architectural principles.
- Familiarity with issue tracking platforms such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Basic ability to write and use SQL queries for verifying data consistency.
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
- Experience with enterprise integration systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of Agile development processes beneficial.
