Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site Managing Director position in Miami, Florida. The role works closely with the president and founder to keep the business running smoothly, shape strategic direction, strengthen relationships with important partners, and ensure the company stays on track to meet its goals.

Key responsibilities

The Managing Director will lead day-to-day operations, translate business objectives into practical plans, and guide cross-functional teams toward performance targets. The role includes supporting growth initiatives, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, overseeing financial matters, reviewing operational performance, and making sure day-to-day execution stays aligned with the organization's mission and long-term vision.

Qualifications

Applicants should be fully fluent in both English and Spanish. Prior background in strategic planning, business expansion, and financial oversight is important, along with proven leadership ability and experience managing and motivating teams across different functions. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are needed for working with partners, clients, and other stakeholders. Candidates should also bring solid judgment, problem-solving ability, and project management skills in a business or corporate environment. Understanding of market trends, risk management approaches, financial reporting, budgeting, and operations is expected. Experience in insurance, brokerage, or financial services would be a strong advantage. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field is required, and an MBA or similar advanced qualification is preferred.
