Overview
Join LAZ Parking as a Lot Checker in Tulsa, OK, where you will support operations by ensuring compliance with parking regulations and assisting customers with their parking needs. This role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, providing a team-oriented environment, competitive pay, and career advancement possibilities.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned parking areas to detect vehicles violating local parking rules.
- Use License Plate Recognition technology to accurately document license plates for citation issuance.
- Issue authorized parking citations per company policy for infractions identified.
- Daily update handheld devices with current operational data.
- Verify parking permits and placards for special authorizations in designated zones.
- Address customer complaints professionally according to established procedures.
- Care for and maintain all issued company equipment.
- Assist with ad hoc assignments, including cleaning and graffiti reporting.
- Provide jump-start and tire inflation services as needed using company equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum six months of experience working outdoors.
- Familiarity with local streets and directions.
- Minimum age of 18 years with a valid two-year US driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong customer service skills; prior experience in parking or hospitality industries is advantageous but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements
- Preparedness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Capable of standing, walking, and running extensively (approximately 95-100% of shift).
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting during work hours.
- No sitting during shifts except breaks off property.
- Perform tasks such as sweeping and changing signage as necessary.
