Role Overview
The Logistics Officer, positioned in Riyadh, is a full-time, on-site role. This individual will handle all aspects of daily logistics operations, overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments, managing delivery tracking, and ensuring prompt distribution to clients. This position demands close monitoring of inventory levels, efficient warehouse management, thorough preparation of shipping and inventory documentation, and consistency in record maintenance aligned with company policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily logistics processes including inbound and outbound shipping activities.
- Track delivery statuses to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain inventory levels by regular monitoring, stock tracking, and discrepancy reduction.
- Organize warehouse operations to optimize storage space, product handling, and order fulfillment.
- Prepare and manage accurate logistics documentation and maintain comprehensive records.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to streamline operations.
- Support adherence to compliance standards and relevant regulations.
- Promote continuous improvements in logistics processes.
- Ensure workplace safety and maintain an orderly logistics environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong expertise in logistics management and supply chains to enable seamless goods movement.
- Practical knowledge of inventory control techniques and experience mitigating stock discrepancies.
- Proficiency in warehouse operations focusing on effective storage and distribution.
- Solid administrative abilities including documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related fields preferred.
- Experience in handling logistics within healthcare, laboratory, or medical product sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and familiarity with basic IT tools and ERP/inventory software.
- Ability to work on-site in Riyadh and effectively communicate in English; Arabic communication skills are an added benefit.
