Research Analyst - Remote Contract

Role Overview

• Seeking a meticulous Business Analyst to assist in evaluation and annotation workflows that prioritize quality, precision, and logical reasoning.
• Perform side-by-side evaluations on GHD outputs to compare, assess quality, and measure accuracy and relevance.
• Carry out fact-checking to confirm data integrity and detect inaccuracies or contradictions.
• Provide comprehensive and logically organized explanations supporting evaluation outcomes.
• Adhere strictly to predefined evaluation frameworks and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize browser-based software and extensions to facilitate assessment and review operations.
• Execute straightforward command-line tasks when necessary to aid evaluation procedures.
• Clearly document observations and share insights with relevant parties as required.
• Engage in repetitive cycles aimed at improving data quality, assessing outputs, and applying structured analytical reasoning.

Candidate Profile

• Applicants with prior involvement in evaluation, annotation, quality assurance, or auditing roles.
• Individuals experienced in reviewing data quality, content assessment, or model evaluation.
• Preferred backgrounds include business analysis, operational roles, or process optimization.
• Proficient computer users familiar with browser extensions and web-based tools.
• Capable of executing basic command-line instructions; no advanced coding needed.
• Availability for full-time work (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week) with a minimum overlap of 4-5 hours with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
