Role Overview
The Learning Program Manager for Sciences will spearhead the development and management of science education content spanning Biology and Chemistry across Grades 7 to 12. This leadership position focuses on managing a team responsible for curriculum design and ensuring timely, high-quality content delivery aligned with both National and International educational tracks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of four Design Leads specializing in Biology, Chemistry, Science for middle school/Nafes, and Bio & Chem for International tracks, alongside content creators and QA contractors.
- Develop and maintain the comprehensive science content delivery plan, overseeing the production roadmap and adherence to timelines.
- Manage workflows including capacity and production planning, prioritization meetings, and removing obstacles to maintain steady progress without last-minute emergencies.
- Establish and enforce quality standards through collaboration with Learning Excellence teams and Head Teachers, formalizing review processes and QA procedures.
- Utilize feedback mechanisms such as exit tickets, diagnostic tests, end-of-chapter reviews, and learning gain data, partnering with Data and Learning Excellence teams to inform continuous improvement.
- Coordinate cross-functional interactions with Head Teachers, Product, Engineering, Data teams, and school operations to ensure smooth content delivery hand-offs.
- Create scalable processes, tools, and templates that enable increased content production efficiency, including integration of AI-assisted content creation methods.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience managing teams, with a preference for 5 years, particularly within fast-moving educational technology or learning-focused organizations.
- A background that blends education and technology, ideally experience with edtech platforms or startups familiar with scheduled content delivery.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous contexts, showing decisiveness and accountability when making decisions with incomplete information.
- Fluent in Arabic and professionally proficient in English.
- Based in Riyadh or willing to work from the Riyadh office.
Preferred Additional Experience:
- Instructional design or e-learning certifications.
- Knowledge of Saudi national assessment systems such as Tahsili, Qudrat, and Nafes.
- Experience managing distributed or freelance teams and contractors.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools, dashboard use, and AI-assisted content development workflows.
- Experience working with international or culturally diverse teams.
