Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic leader to head our regional logistics team based in Singapore. The Lead for Logistics Performance will supervise a team of Specialists, directing efforts to design, analyze, and enhance logistics operations specifically focusing on rider compensation and incentives across 17 diverse markets. This role bridges strategic business ambitions and practical operational execution to optimize rider payments, boost delivery efficiency, maintain fleet stability, address supply challenges, and uphold financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Specialists, fostering a culture of deep analytical thinking and curiosity while encouraging innovation.
• Develop and implement a long-term strategic plan for rider payment and incentives, ensuring consistency and fiscal discipline across markets while allowing regional adaptations.
• Monitor and manage budgets linked to rider compensation, enhancing cost-efficiency while balancing adequate rider supply and retention.
• Manage the deployment of sophisticated data science models and automation tools regionally.
• Lead experimentation with new compensation models like dynamic pricing and surge incentives to improve fleet performance, maximizing ROI.
• Collaborate closely with Central Product teams to influence and facilitate new payment feature development and rollout.
• Build strong relationships with Local Logistics Directors, Finance, and Product Managers to interpret operational challenges and provide strategic data-driven recommendations to executives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in fast-paced tech, logistics, strategic consulting, or investment banking roles, preferably involving gig economy, marketplace, or logistics experience.
• At least 1-2 years of experience leading direct reports or cross-functional teams.
• University degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel to verify and manipulate data effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence in challenging norms and negotiating at senior levels.
