Shift and Availability

This role requires flexible shift availability and consistent onsite attendance to support smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers courteously while managing the register and cashier duties.
• Make product recommendations and occasionally manage food program tasks.
• Gain hands-on leadership experience by supervising shifts regularly.
• Perform various duties around the store, both inside and outside, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
• Collaborate with a motivated team to complete daily tasks efficiently and enthusiastically.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated skill in selling products and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Effective communication and ability to engage customers in friendly interactions.
• Capacity to work quickly and enjoyably while meeting team objectives.

• Entry-level experience in supervising employees and managing small teams.

Preferred Experience and Education

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, sales, or cashier roles.
• Some leadership or entry-level management experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong motivation to pursue career advancement and willingness to learn.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours continuously.
• Lift or carry items up to 30 pounds for up to 30 minutes during a shift.
• Occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds from ground to waist height.
• Push or pull with up to 20 pounds of force using arms.
• Bending at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift.
• Use of hands for grasping, reaching, and manipulating objects, including climbing ladders for stocking or sign placement.
