Role Overview

As a Laundry Pressman, you enhance the guest experience by expertly finishing garments and linens with precision and care, reflecting our dedication to quality and creating moments of comfort and assurance through your craft.

Key Duties

• Operate steam presses, irons, and finishing machinery safely and efficiently to ensure high performance.
• Use appropriate temperature, pressure, and pressing methods tailored to different fabrics ranging from fine silks to sturdy cotton.
• Examine items before and after pressing to detect stains, defects, or damage ensuring only flawless products are delivered.
• Adhere strictly to safety and cleanliness standards to maintain a hygienic and safe workspace.
• Collaborate effectively with the laundry team to ensure seamless operations.

Candidate Profile

• At least one year of experience in a similar role within a 5-star luxury hotel environment.
• Thorough knowledge of textile types and their proper maintenance requirements.
• Proficient with various pressing guidelines and advanced techniques.
• Educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Possess a positive, amicable demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
