About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Labourer to join our team, offering stable employment with dedicated local work supported by a company vehicle. Main Duties

  • Performing a variety of general repair tasks in domestic properties both inside and out
  • Assisting various trades such as joinery, tiling, painting, and basic plumbing
  • Adhering to work specifications and ensuring safety and health compliance
  • Coordinating with supervisors, schedulers, and teams to meet work deadlines
  • Documenting work activities and completing required paperwork
  • Supporting team effectiveness and maintaining high customer service standards

Typical Workday

  • Following a structured plan that covers maintenance and repairs
  • Driving to different locations in the company van
  • Working independently or alongside other trades professionals
  • Interacting directly with customers in their homes
  • Completing tasks efficiently while upholding quality and safety standards

  • Vacant or void properties
  • Various domestic properties within your local area
  • Settings that involve supporting vulnerable customers

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of an NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds qualification
  • Prior experience as a labourer, preferably within social housing or residential properties
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Residency within the PE postcode area due to work location requirements

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Experience working across multiple trades such as joinery, tiling, or plumbing
  • Possession of extra trade qualifications

Recruitment Process and Requirements
