About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and prioritize security alerts
- Analyze potential security threats and escalate incidents as necessary
- Assist in handling responses to security incidents
- Keep operational documentation and procedural runbooks up-to-date
- Take part in a supervised on-call duty rotation
Candidate Requirements
- Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or within a SOC setting
- Good grasp of security principles and incident response methodologies
- Familiarity with SIEM, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), or cloud security technologies
- A naturally inquisitive and proactive attitude
- Ability to stay composed in high-pressure situations and a strong eagerness to learn
- Applicants must reside in Auckland to be eligible for this role
