Role Overview
This opportunity is tailored for meticulous podcast editors with a passion for storytelling and audio-visual production. You'll be tasked with editing episodes of a podcast centered on millennial life topics such as dating, family, careers, and health. Episodes range from 40 to 60 minutes in length and incorporate between one and three camera angles. The position is fully remote, providing flexibility and the chance to creatively enhance a show that connects with a broad audience. Your skills will elevate each episode's quality, enabling the host to concentrate on content creation and engaging listeners.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit podcast episodes with both audio and video components using DaVinci Resolve, ensuring seamless transitions and professional sound design.
- Perform basic color grading on video material to achieve a polished, uniform appearance.
- Handle multiple camera angles by synchronizing audio and video as necessary.
- Produce and deliver final episodes in the stipulated formats, adhering strictly to deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with the host by integrating feedback to preserve the show's style and voice.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong proficiency with DaVinci Resolve software for audio and video editing.
- Past experience editing podcasts or other lengthy content formats.
