Role overview
This role is with a Japanese Tier 1 automotive components manufacturing company in Chennai. The position involves acting as a language bridge between Japanese and English for business, technical, and operational communication.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret conversations and translate written and spoken communication between Japanese and English.
- Assist during meetings, including discussions related to technical topics and day-to-day operations.
- Support the preparation and handling of documents that require Japanese-English understanding.
- Work with teams across functions to keep communication clear and aligned.
- Help ensure business messages are conveyed accurately without loss of meaning.
Candidate profile
- JLPT N3 certification is compulsory.
- Applicants should bring 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing setup is preferred.
- Strong command of both Japanese and English is needed for effective communication.
