Job Purpose

The IT Infrastructure & Network Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the comprehensive network and IT infrastructure across Prada’s corporate offices, retail outlets, warehouses, and stock rooms. This role aims to maintain a secure, reliable, and efficient network environment while managing locally hosted servers, office networks, and specialized Prada hardware.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Design, implement, and sustain the network system configurations, installations, and standards across the organization.
Maintain thorough documentation of network workflows, configurations, and procedures.
Facilitate the rollout of new network solutions and improve the resilience of existing infrastructure.
Configure and install networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and quality of service setups, as well as specialized Prada hardware and local servers.
Monitor network operations, analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and maximize performance.
Collaborate with network architects to optimize scalability and enhance network functionality.
Plan and perform necessary upgrades, patches, and preventative maintenance.
Provide remote assistance to on-site engineers, retail employees, and end-users during various IT activities.
Work closely with internal IT units and external vendors to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives.
Enforce network security policies, oversee firewall configurations, and manage network access and compliance.
Conduct capacity management, audit IP address usage, and maintain asset documentation for data centers and on-premise devices.
Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring smooth operation of systems and networks across all sites.
Manage IT ticket prioritization and resolution according to service level agreements.
Report on network status, communicate updates, and manage IT projects adhering to business priorities.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
Between 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or systems administration.
Experience supporting multi-location enterprises encompassing corporate and retail environments is advantageous.
Background in luxury retail, fashion, or consumer goods sectors is considered a plus.
Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or Security+ are highly desirable.
Strong expertise with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS.
Proficiency in configuring and maintaining network hardware like Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, and Palo Alto devices.
Server administration skills covering Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of physical infrastructure such as hardware racks, cabling, and local server environments.
Strong understanding of IT security practices and infrastructure hardening techniques.
Experience with network monitoring tools and IT service management systems.
Ability to create and update detailed network diagrams and technical documentation.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical abilities, and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and adeptness in multitasking and handling multiple projects concurrently.
Customer-centric attitude and ability to function effectively under pressure.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000. Eligible candidates may also qualify for bonuses and additional incentives. Actual pay will depend on candidates’ relevant skills, experience, and knowledge.
