Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer based in Surat, preferably a local candidate, with over 3 years of expertise to effectively manage and support the company's IT infrastructure and operations, including specialized handling of Matrix access control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and sustain hardware and software components of computer systems.
- Deliver technical support and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and networking.
- Oversee LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and maintain fundamental firewall configurations.
- Continuously monitor system efficiency, security protocols, and manage data backups.
- Administer user accounts, email setups, and control system permissions.
- Operate and configure Matrix devices, including user enrollment, data synchronization, and report generation.
- Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets and prepare technical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies and implement industry best practices.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware, networking principles, and operating systems.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and fundamental server management.
- Familiarity with networking protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Practical experience with Matrix software and systems.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, system security, and data backup techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, effective communication, and teamwork skills.
Educational Requirements
Diploma or degree holders in BCA, BSc-IT, BE, or BTech disciplines related to IT, Computer Science, or Electronics are eligible to apply.
