About the Role

Join OUTsurance Ireland as an Insurance Claim Handler, focusing on motor and home property claims. This full-time position based in Cherrywood, Dublin, involves overseeing the entire claims process from initial notification to settlement. You'll be entrusted with your claims portfolio, applying your expertise and judgment to ensure fair and timely resolutions that prioritize excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage claims efficiently from first notification through to final settlement.
• Utilize technical knowledge and sound judgment to make equitable decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to facilitate claims progression.
• Handle escalated or complex cases to support resolution efforts.
• Detect potential fraudulent activities and take the necessary actions.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Comply with a 37.5-hour workweek.

Candidate Requirements

• Progressing towards APA qualification aligned with MCC standards.
• Experience within the insurance sector.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organized in task management.
• A proactive team player who assumes responsibility and ownership.
• Committed to acting in the best interest of both the customer and the company.
