Role Overview
The Human Resources Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in advancing enterprise-wide human capital strategies by analyzing workforce related data, designing dashboards and reports, and identifying patterns that aid strategic management decisions. This role demands sharp analytical skills, proficiency with business intelligence tools, and the competence to convey intricate data insights clearly to executive leaders and stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, update, and improve dashboards, scorecards, reports, and critical HR performance indicators.
- Examine workforce data to uncover trends, risks, and areas ripe for process enhancement.
- Create visual data representations and automated reporting using BI technology.
- Develop business process models and document workflows employing BPMN standards.
- Leverage Tableau, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft Power BI for reporting and analysis tasks.
- Conduct rigorous audits and validation of HR data across systems to ensure precision and consistency.
- Generate executive summaries, presentations, and analytics reports that underpin strategic workforce planning.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements and implement data-centric solutions.
- Spot opportunities to automate manual report preparation to boost operational efficiencies.
- Respond to ad hoc data requests with recommendations grounded in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 12 years of experience in project or program management or equivalent professional background.
- Eight or more years in analytical and support functions.
- Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in collecting, organizing, and interpreting complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and general Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Federal Human Resources or Human Capital program support.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Track record of creating workforce analytics dashboards and executive reporting.
- Knowledge in business process modeling and continuous process improvement techniques.
- Background working with federal government clients.
