Role Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner is integral to the HR framework within a division of the company, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. This role collaborates closely with managers and department leaders to boost employee engagement, ensure legal compliance, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. The position advises leadership on workforce planning and talent management to drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify enhancement opportunities in HR processes and talent strategies.
- Establish and nurture strong connections with business units to accurately assess workforce requirements.
- Support leadership in talent acquisition, retention efforts, and succession planning.
- Oversee and communicate performance evaluation procedures.
- Provide counsel on employee relations and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Manage confidential HR cases such as accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
- Collaborate on initiatives aimed at strengthening organizational culture and fostering inclusion.
- Offer advice on compensation frameworks in line with market trends.
- Assist in drafting job descriptions and organizing job classifications.
- Work with legal teams to evaluate and mitigate risks.
- Design and deliver training programs for managers and employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- At least 3 years experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR legal compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication skills for delivering complex or sensitive information.
- Keen attention to detail and strong ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and analytical functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace tools.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations.
- Capacity to manage change and ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Background in high-growth or fast-moving workplaces.
- Expertise in developing HR programs that support diversity and inclusion.
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges between $100,000 and $120,000 annually.
