Role Overview
We are seeking an HR Manager based in Bremen, Germany, specializing in the defense field, working full-time onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage technical tasks for HR specialists.
- Ensure adherence to legal, operational, and contractual requirements.
- Conduct recruitment interviews for specialists and managerial roles.
- Implement compensation and benefits programs.
- Design and execute HR projects collaboratively with senior HR management (Level 2).
- Provide expert advice on all personnel matters and labor law issues.
- Develop and maintain project plans for HR initiatives including timelines, milestones, and resource management.
- Monitor project progress, prepare evaluations and reports, and assist with HR controlling documentation.
- Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and refinement of HR processes.
- Participate in drafting works agreements in alignment with HR leadership.
- Facilitate effective communication regarding projects both internally and externally.
Candidate Requirements
- Completed degree in human resources, organizational studies, labor law, or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience as an HR manager or HR officer.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Works Constitution Act along with labor and social security laws.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with SAP/R3 HR module.
- Strong computer proficiency, especially in MS Office applications like PowerPoint and Excel, including data handling techniques such as pivot tables.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain an open mindset.
- Familiarity with process optimization methods.
- Advanced skills in Excel, MS Project, and MS Visio.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Business fluent English is required; knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish or French is a plus.
