Overview
We are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join a manufacturing site in Halewood on a contract basis until June 2027. This role is focused on providing comprehensive HR support with an emphasis on employee absence management and operational attendance improvement across manufacturing facilities. Full training will be provided, making it suitable for candidates aiming to build a career in Employee Relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support absence cases related to manufacturing to enhance attendance and operational outcomes.
- Provide prompt assistance for short and long-term absences, including cases involving restricted workers.
- Identify situations needing early intervention and implement support measures to shorten absence duration.
- Coordinate absence management training sessions for stakeholders within the manufacturing setting.
- Collaborate with Employee Relations Administrators to review and refine absence policies and procedures.
- Work alongside Occupational Health to facilitate timely interventions and effective employee support plans.
- Encourage employee wellbeing initiatives and communicate available support services to help reduce absenteeism.
- Ensure precise absence reporting and supply relevant data to support trend evaluation and informed decision-making.
- Develop strong partnerships with HR teams, line managers, and other key business stakeholders.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the Employee Relations domain.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the Employee Relations Operations Administrator function.

Additional Information
This opportunity is offered on a contract basis inside IR35 until June 2027 with an hourly rate of GBP 23.60 inclusive of holiday pay and agency employer contributions.
