Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

Iceland Foods is seeking dedicated Home Delivery Drivers who are enthusiastic about staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers. This role involves delivering groceries safely and efficiently while representing the company directly to the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Load the delivery van safely following appropriate manual handling and lifting procedures.
• Adhere strictly to road safety and driving protocols.
• Perform routine checks on the van for safety and operational readiness.
• Ensure groceries reach customers in excellent condition.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
• Assist with in-store duties when necessary.
• Work independently managing time effectively across varied shifts.
• Be flexible to work shifts that may start as early as 6am and finish as late as 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possesses a full driving license valid for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Exhibits a positive, friendly attitude and is passionate about excellent customer service.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding and commitment to road safety.
