Role Overview

As part of our ongoing expansion, we invite an experienced High Voltage Cable Jointer to join our team supporting the Malaga office on a permanent full-time basis. This position offers the possibility of relocation assistance to Western Australia for suitable candidates, demonstrating our commitment to supporting your transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform jointing and termination of underground high voltage and low voltage power cables.
• Execute high voltage terminations across various switchgear types.
• Install earthing systems and earth grids for substations and other HV assets.
• Conduct low voltage tasks including pillar installations and related joints or terminations.
• Locate faults in underground electrical cables and carry out necessary repairs.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of Certificate III or equivalent qualification in HV and LV Cable Jointing.
• Preferred possession of Electrical Trade Certification.
• Preferred accreditation for HV and LV jointing by Western Power.
• Possession of a high-risk work license.
• Current valid Western Australia driver's license.
• Construction White Card certification.
• Proven employment history in cable jointing roles.
• At least three years of practical experience as a cable jointer.
• Experience specifically with XLPE cable terminations and joints.
