Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Grocery Associate offers valuable retail experience and skill development. Associates deliver outstanding customer service reflecting Walmart's core values, maintain organized grocery sections, assist in product stocking, and support sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the grocery department and ensure it is well-zoned.
• Rotate inventory, checking for expired items to guarantee product freshness.
• Confirm merchandise has correct signage and pricing.
• Follow established food safety standards and maintain cleanliness through proper sanitation procedures.
• Manage procedures related to ordering, marking down prices, clearance, labeling, and pricing to maximize sales efficiency.
• Ensure stock levels meet business demands and that the department is fully prepared for customers.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations.
• Perform stocking, picking, downstocking if needed, apply product protection, install and maintain modular displays including flexible modulars and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $17.75.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
