About the Role and Employer
This position is available at a McDonald's franchise restaurant, operated independently from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's branding and products but functions as a separate company, responsible for all employment-related decisions including hiring, firing, scheduling, and supervision. McDonald's USA does not influence these hiring or employment processes.
Position Overview
The General Manager role entails overseeing the restaurant's profitability while ensuring McDonald's customer standards for quality, service, and cleanliness are met at a high level. This leadership position involves setting strategic goals and collaborating with a team of Department Managers to implement and achieve these objectives. The General Manager provides coaching, guidance, and performance follow-up to each Department Manager to elevate overall restaurant performance. Additionally, responsibilities include recruiting and developing management staff to maintain a strong leadership pipeline.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Successful applicants will preferably have prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume environments, particularly within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail industries. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management roles in corporate-owned restaurant contexts.
