About the Role

Join the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment as a Front Desk Coordinator based in Wellington. As the initial point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, you'll represent our workplace with professionalism and warmth, ensuring positive first impressions. This permanent, full-time position offers a salary range from $55,624 to $65,829 NZD, along with KiwiSaver and wellness benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and professional reception services for all visitors, clients, and staff.
  • Offer assistance with warmth and efficiency, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Handle various administrative duties to support daily operations smoothly.
  • Manage security access and visitor coordination through appropriate systems.
  • Deliver informative and helpful support to both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Preferably previous experience in reception or customer service roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams); familiarity with SharePoint or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and efficiently work within a dynamic work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Handles confidential information sensitively and discreetly.
  • Legal eligibility to live and work in New Zealand is required.
  • Flexibility to work across different buildings if necessary.
