FP&A Expert

Job Overview

Seeking experienced finance professionals for the role of FP&A Expert with over 6 years in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, or finance business partnering. This position requires individuals who have comprehensive experience managing P&L, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analyses, converting accounting data into operational decisions involving expenditures, staffing, and growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and assess robust financial planning scenarios based on extensive FP&A, budgeting, and management reporting expertise.
• Communicate complex financial trade-offs in an understandable manner to non-finance stakeholders.
• Analyze variances comprehensively and provide actionable recommendations for next steps.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom with legal working rights.
• Experience in industries such as digital media and advertising, entertainment, subscription or membership models, live events, multi-location consumer operations, or similarly complex commercial environments with significant FP&A functions.
• Proven capabilities in P&L ownership and management reporting.
• Expertise in annual budget preparation and consolidation across departments.
• Skilled in developing rolling forecasts and projecting income statements.
• Competent in monthly variance assessment and budget versus actual reporting.
• Experience managing committed expenses and enforcing cost controls.
• Capable of setting forecast assumptions and conducting scenario stress tests.

Compensation

This contract role offers a remuneration of $150 per hour.
