Role Overview

This position in the Founder's Office calls for proactive generalists who own strategic, multi-faceted projects to advance the expansion of BJAK's finance super app. The role involves solving ambiguous business challenges rapidly, spanning functions including licensing, market entry, partnerships, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end zero-to-one strategic initiatives for the finance super app.
• Support activities related to licensing, entering new markets, acquiring partners, setting up offices, recruitment, and operational planning.
• Conduct research on markets, competitors, regulatory environments, partners, and business models.
• Translate high-level founder ideas into structured plans with assigned owners, deadlines, and actionable next steps.
• Collaborate across teams such as product, legal, compliance, finance, hiring, operations, and country-specific units.
• Create and maintain trackers, briefs, memos, operational documents, and execution workflows.
• Take full ownership of urgent and complex business problems until their resolution.

Candidate Requirements

• Highly capable generalist with a strong sense of ownership, business acumen, and excellent writing skills.
• Quickly assimilates knowledge of new industries, regulations, and markets.
• Experience or comfort with licensing, partnerships, operational tasks, market research, and execution.
• Ability to clarify unstructured inputs into coherent plans and ensure diligent follow-up.
• Performs effectively under pressure with agility and resourcefulness.
• Strong command of English communication and structured logical reasoning.
• Prior experience in startups, consulting, fintech, strategy, operations, investment, or founder-led settings is highly advantageous.

Work Location and Language

This is a fully remote role; however, candidates must reside in Singapore as the position supports market-specific initiatives. English is the primary working language, requiring strong proficiency.
