Founders Associate

About the Role

Join one of Germany's leading AI-native commercial insurance broker startups in Berlin as a Founders Associate working directly with the Founder & CEO. This position offers a rare chance to immerse yourself in all facets of growing a rapidly expanding, venture-funded AI insurance software company. You will be central to key strategic projects spanning go-to-market efforts, finance, operations, and the CEO's office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with demand generation and driving growth initiatives.
• Analyze pricing strategies and commercial metrics.
• Monitor sales funnel performance and overall business health.
• Enhance sales processes and commercial operations efficiency.
• Develop strategic partnerships and contribute to business development.
• Prepare board presentations and investor reports.
• Support fundraising efforts and investor relations.
• Create financial models, forecasts, and business case analyses.
• Help manage financial administration and capitalization table.
• Coordinate company planning and preparation for all-hands meetings.
• Lead cross-functional strategic projects and prepare decision-making materials.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams.
• Own and drive the company’s highest-impact priorities from day one.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent academic achievements from a top-tier university or business school.
• Prior experience as a Founder's Associate or working at a fast-paced venture-backed startup; internships count.
• Minimum one year of professional experience in total, including internships.
• Strong analytical ability and structured problem-solving skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
• Fluent English, with good command of German language.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive sense of ownership.
• Motivated, humble, and keen to learn continually.
• Strong work ethic and adaptable to a fast-moving environment.
• Willingness to work onsite in Berlin, collaborating closely with the Founder and CEO.
