Role Overview

This full-time, hybrid position located in London (Moorgate) requires close collaboration with the COO and Co-Founder, acting as an essential operational partner responsible for driving execution across fundraising, partnerships, recruitment, operations, and strategic initiatives. This is a proactive leadership role focused on action and results rather than administrative tasks. The role also has a clear evolution path toward a Strategic Operations Lead or Chief of Staff as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the COO’s main operational support, ensuring completion of decisions and tasks across all business areas.
Participate in investor, client, partnership, and internal meetings to document action items and enforce accountability.
Manage cross-functional projects to eliminate obstacles and maintain steady progress.
Assist with fundraising efforts including investor diligence and preparation of necessary documentation.
Help develop commercial strategies and drive partnerships from initial engagement through to execution.
Prepare strategic presentations, business documents, and grant applications.
Oversee recruitment processes, onboarding, and internal operations management.
Design and implement operational processes to support scalable company growth.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience supporting founders or senior leadership teams.
Exposure to commercial strategy, partnerships, or operational roles.
Interest in AI, deep-tech, energy, or advanced material sectors.
Proficiency with presentation tools, Excel, and strong writing skills.

Within 12 months: become a trusted partner to the COO, establish scalable systems, remove operational barriers, drive major initiatives, and prepare to transition into a Strategic Operations Lead or Chief of Staff position.
