- Manage all FIFA compliance criteria and convert them into actionable requirements across design, construction, overlay, operations, safety, security, broadcast, media, hospitality, and fan experience.
- Develop and implement FIFA compliance strategies and roadmaps, overseeing preparation and quality assurance of reports, reviews, dashboards, and submission documents.
- Provide program-wide assurance on compliance status, key risks, mitigation measures, and balance trade-offs between permanent infrastructure and temporary or overlay solutions.
- Coordinate technical integration by working with design, engineering, overlay, safety/security, commercial, and procurement teams, reviewing and challenging proposals for alignment with FIFA standards and cost-effectiveness.
- Advise client leadership and senior stakeholders on FIFA strategies, decision-making, approvals, and legacy planning, ensuring compliance avoids unnecessary long-term expenses.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Sports Venue Design, Project Management or related disciplines; professional accreditation or FIFA-related credentials are advantageous.
- Substantial practical experience with FIFA World Cup stadiums or major event venues throughout design, delivery, or operational phases.
- Demonstrated engagement with FIFA, Local Organising Committees, or World Cup authorities and an in-depth understanding of FIFA stadium standards and approval protocols.
- Experience managing programs involving multiple stadiums or venues, balancing compliance, risk, cost, and legacy considerations.
- Comprehensive technical expertise in stadium design, construction, overlay, safety, security, broadcast, media, and operations, capable of interpreting complex regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to maintain credibility under pressure, commercially aware, collaborative, and confident in challenging decisions.
