This role involves facilitating and leading workshops, cultural education, and career development programs aimed at building confidence and opening new pathways for Aboriginal youth. Working across schools and community venues in Gosford, New South Wales, you'll foster genuine connections and deliver impactful sessions that contribute to brighter futures.

Key Responsibilities

As a Facilitator, you will be responsible for engaging with young people through educational and cultural programs that build skills and self-assurance. Your work will include organizing and presenting workshops, creating culturally safe environments, and maintaining strong relationships within the community.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting Aboriginal communities with a respectful and culturally appropriate approach. Experience in conducting workshops, community training, or similar programs is essential, alongside excellent communication and the ability to both work independently and collaboratively. A current driver's licence and willingness to obtain required clearances are also necessary.

Additional Information

This position is identified as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander only. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, based in Gosford. Benefits include a collegial work environment, competitive salary, and access to a pool vehicle for work-related travel.
