Position Details

This full-time role requires working six days per week onsite in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, focusing on façade inspection and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of aluminum façades, curtain walls, cladding, windows, doors, and glazing installations.
• Ensure all façade-related works adhere strictly to approved method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Verify material compliance and workmanship against approved drawings, specifications, and applicable project standards.
• Perform site inspections of incoming façade materials to ensure quality standards.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, or installation issues, advising on corrective measures.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, subcontractors, and the engineering team to resolve technical matters on the site.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, snag lists, and other documentation related to quality control.
• Oversee and record field tests including water penetration, air infiltration, and structural performance as required.
• Conduct factory audits to monitor production quality and progress of façade components.
• Supervise corrective actions on defects and confirm their resolution prior to approval; maintain thorough inspection records supporting QA/QC activities.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Holder of a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or closely related fields.
• At least 10 years of comprehensive experience in façade inspections, construction supervision, or quality control.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience specifically inspecting façade works across residential, mixed-use, commercial, or high-rise projects within consultancy or site supervision roles.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience working in the UAE construction industry.
• Deep understanding of aluminium curtain wall systems, both unitized and stick-built façades, cladding, glazing, windows, doors, skylights, and associated waterproofing systems.
• Knowledgeable in façade testing protocols such as water ingress, air leakage, structural performance, and on-site mock-up testing.
• Well-versed in relevant international standards, local regulations, and QA/QC processes connected to façade works.
• Capable of reviewing technical documents including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and inspection requests (MIRs, WIRs).
