Position Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Power & Energy team based in Christchurch. This role involves contributing to multidisciplinary projects nationwide by providing electrical design engineering and technical guidance. You will support client needs, strengthen client relations, and help drive excellence within the Power & Energy sector through quality service delivery. Your role includes electrical design proficiency, project planning assistance, and ongoing professional growth especially in areas such as power generation, renewable technologies, transmission, and distribution.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Preferably at least three years of professional experience in a similar discipline.
- Possession of a current, clean driver license.
- Proven experience in electrical design spanning a wide range of electrical engineering areas.
- Comprehensive understanding of New Zealand electrical codes and standards.
- Familiarity with electrical design modeling software.
