About the Role
NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to a member of their Executive Team. This key position facilitates smooth operations for senior leaders working within a complex, dynamic healthcare environment across Kent and Medway.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive, high-caliber executive and administrative assistance to an Executive Director.
- Manage complex calendars by prioritizing appointments and organizing meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements.
- Prepare comprehensive briefings, reports, presentations, correspondence, and essential documentation to aid in decision-making processes.
- Serve as the primary contact point for various internal and external stakeholders while fostering professional relationships.
- Coordinate governance-related activities including meeting arrangements, action tracking, and follow-ups.
- Assist in handling sensitive enquiries, complaints, correspondence, and Freedom of Information requests.
- Ensure Executive Directors are well-briefed and fully prepared for meetings, board activities, and external engagements.
- Monitor ongoing actions and priorities, managing delegated tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Contribute support towards projects, service enhancements, and business planning efforts across the organization.
- Manage confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will be an experienced Executive Assistant or Project Officer with outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. The role requires comfort in a high-paced setting, ability to juggle competing demands, initiative-taking, sound judgment, and a dedication to delivering superior support.

This position does not qualify for skilled worker sponsorship; candidates must provide valid documentation confirming the right to work in the United Kingdom.
