Position Overview
We are currently hiring for the position of Entry Level Labourer at our Skookumchuck, British Columbia site. This is a full-time permanent role within our pulp mill, offering opportunities for career advancement and skill development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physically demanding labor tasks throughout various mill areas, including covering vacation and training relief shifts.
- Operate mobile equipment for prolonged durations as needed.
- Stand and remain active on your feet for extended periods.
- Work under hot and noisy environmental conditions.
- Operate within a shift rotation schedule covering both day and night shifts.
- Maintain good visual perception and be computer literate to fulfill job requirements effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Presentation of official Grade 12 high school transcripts.
- Possession of a valid Canadian driver’s license.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new tasks.
- Proven safe work performance history.

Additional Information
The hourly wage is established as per the 2021–2025 PPWC Local 15 Labour Agreement at $34.72/hour. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant industrial experience.
