Position Overview
The role of an Entry-Level Data Analyst at Paragon Event Marketing is a part-time position based in Sydney, NSW, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement that allows for some days working from home. The analyst will be responsible for gathering, cleansing, and structuring marketing and event data sourced internally and externally. This position necessitates creating fundamental reports and dashboards, conducting statistical and trend analyses, and supporting recommendations aimed at improving campaign effectiveness.
Key Duties
- Collaborate with account managers and marketing personnel to translate data results into meaningful visual presentations and easy-to-understand insights.
- Assist in modeling data and validating its accuracy to ensure sound performance summaries.
- Contribute to the enhancement of current reporting methods and processes.
Candidate Profile
- Possess strong analytical capabilities and basic data analytics skills relevant for evaluating marketing and event performance data.
- Have fundamental knowledge of statistics and skill in applying statistical reasoning to discern trends and patterns.
- Show introductory competence in data modeling to support organizing data for reporting purposes.
- Demonstrate clear communication abilities to convey data-driven insights effectively to stakeholders without technical backgrounds.
- Familiarity with spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets and basic skills in creating visual data displays like charts and dashboards.
- Preference for candidates who have pursued studies or hold qualifications in Data Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, Business, or related disciplines, though not mandatory.
- Exhibit attention to detail, curiosity about data, and capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
