Role Overview

We are seeking an Enterprise Architect with over 6 years of experience in Edge technologies and enterprise architecture to work from our Perth office. The successful candidate will define and manage the overarching architecture for retail transformation initiatives encompassing business, application, integration, data, and technology domains while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and govern architecture strategy across retail transformation programs, covering business, application, integration, data, and technology dimensions.
• Evaluate and address impacts on existing utility systems, focusing particularly on retail and customer-facing platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance for integration platforms to avoid excessive complexity and operational risks.
• Review and advise on cloud infrastructure, performance, scalability, resilience, and security across solutions.
• Maintain a unified architectural perspective of the retail ecosystem and relevant dependencies.
• Develop well-documented architecture artifacts, standards, and decision records.
• Collaborate with business units, delivery teams, infrastructure, and application groups to uphold enterprise architecture principles.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong preference for TOGAF certification.
• Experience in utility sectors including retail customer operations, billing, and integration-intensive environments.
• Proven ability to support critical transformation programs with significant business and operational risk.
• Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, cloud platforms, and architectures for customer-facing applications.
• Knowledge of security architecture fundamentals.
