Engineering Manager

Role Overview

We seek a proactive Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic, emerging engineering team within a lean startup setting. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering dependable software and realizing the company's technical strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert the company's technological strategy into clear, actionable sprint schedules and delivery targets.
• Oversee daily development operations of main platforms including mobile, web, and APIs, actively engaging in hands-on work as needed.
• Maintain high standards for security, system reliability, and scalability across all product offerings.
• Guide and nurture a youthful engineering team, ensuring a balance between rapid progress and rigorous discipline.
• Handle daily engineering resource management and participate in strategic decisions regarding building versus buying solutions.
• Champion ongoing enhancements through agile methodologies and customer-centric engineering approaches.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of one year in leadership or mentorship roles.
• Proven expertise in developing and scaling SaaS, fintech, or digital platform products.
• Solid technical foundation encompassing APIs, cloud infrastructure, and security principles.
• A pragmatic, resourceful, and swift problem-solving attitude often described as a "builder's mindset."
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively lead and inspire teams.
