Job Responsibilities

• Execute electrical installation tasks related to HVAC systems and equipment.
• Set up power and control wiring for various HVAC components including AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, exhaust and ventilation fans, pumps, chillers, and packaged units.
• Perform cable pulling, organizing, glanding, terminating, and connecting activities for HVAC apparatus.
• Install electrical infrastructures like conduits, cable trays, trunking, isolators, junction boxes, and other accessories.
• Connect motors, starters, variable frequency drives, control panels, sensors, actuators, and other field devices according to approved schematics.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring, and HVAC connection diagrams accurately.
• Carry out continuity and insulation resistance tests, and troubleshoot basic electrical faults.
• Support testing and commissioning of HVAC-related electrical systems.
• Work in coordination with HVAC technicians during equipment setup and function testing.
• Ensure cables are correctly identified and routed as per schedules and drawings.
• Inspect and correct installation issues under the guidance of the Electrical Foreman.
• Use electrical tools and testing devices properly and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of tools, equipment, and the work area.
• Report any shortage of materials, damaged tools, or technical problems to the Electrical Foreman.
• Promote and maintain a tidy workplace and adhere to safe working practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess ITI or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent credential.
• Have at least 3 to 5 years of experience working as an Electrician.
• Prior exposure to HVAC electrical installations in Oil & Gas or Industrial environments is advantageous.
• Sound understanding of electrical wiring and installation for HVAC systems.
• Experience with cable pulling, termination, glanding, and testing procedures.
