Electrical Installation Supervisor

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Installation Supervisor with a substantial background in industrial or plant settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installation activities, leading site teams, and ensuring the safe and quality-compliant execution of medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) electrical works aligned with project timelines and specifications.

Key Duties

• Supervise installation, maintenance, and construction tasks within substations.
• Manage installation of transformers, MV/LV electrical panels, and cable containment setups.
• Oversee MV/LV cable laying operations, glanding, and cable termination procedures.
• Interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and various electrical drawings accurately.
• Lead on-site teams by allocating workforce and tracking daily progress.
• Detect and resolve electrical issues promptly to ensure continuous project workflow.
• Monitor manpower efficiency, control material consumption, and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
• Collaborate with project engineering staff and other departments to achieve timely project completion.

Professional Qualifications and Experience

• Holds a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• Possesses 3 to 5 years of experience specifically in electrical work for industrial or plant projects.
• Practical knowledge and experience with substations, transformers, MV/LV panels, cable installation including glanding and termination.
• Strong understanding of cable containment systems and electrical schematic documentation such as SLDs.
• Demonstrated capability in supervising teams, troubleshooting electrical faults, and managing site operations effectively.
• Excellent communication, leadership qualities, and problem-solving skills.
