Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Outbound, Picking, and Shipping teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Organize and manage all warehouse functions related to outbound order fulfillment including scheduling, vacation planning, and resource distribution
• Maintain high standards of customer service by prioritizing customer needs and ensuring adherence to company policies
• Communicate operational matters clearly and constructively to team members
• Ensure a safe and compliant workplace in alignment with governmental and internal policies
• Act as a change agent and coach to promote continuous improvement in an inclusive and collaborative setting
• Track productivity and key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet or surpass budget goals, identifying enhancement opportunities
• Enhance order processing workflows to improve business service and resource utilization
• Manage staff training for new hires and ongoing development to consistently achieve quality and efficiency targets
• Identify potential cost reductions and efficiency improvements to boost overall site performance
• Perform other related duties to support the distribution center's success

Qualifications and Skills

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar supervisory role within a unionized distribution environment
• High school diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations
• Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), RF devices, and ERP software such as SAP
• Demonstrated experience introducing new processes effectively
• Strong leadership capabilities with team motivation and management skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Knowledgeable of safety regulations and compliance standards
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
• Experience in driving continuous improvement and leading change initiatives
• Skilled in staff training and development
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
