About The Opportunity
Join our pharmacy team as a Dispenser in one of our UK stores where you will play a crucial role supporting the pharmacist and healthcare professionals in delivering pharmacy and healthcare services safely and efficiently. Your daily activities will involve interacting with patients, dispensing prescriptions, managing medication sales, and offering healthcare advice to promote informed health decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately, ensuring the safe supply of medicines including ordering, labeling, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
- Collaborate with healthcare colleagues in-store to deliver and manage pharmacy services effectively.
- Provide patients with advice about their medications and refer any complex queries to the Pharmacist.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee safe and lawful dispensing.
- Keep updated on new in-store innovations and comply with operational protocols.
- Support patients in managing their prescriptions effectively, promoting medicine adherence and minimizing waste.
- Engage with evolving dispensing technologies to improve patient safety and increase time available for patient interaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 or equivalent, or be currently pursuing and have completed the first year of an MPharm degree.
- Must hold valid UK right to work documentation; this role does not provide Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship.
- Community pharmacy experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Additional Information
This position requires working onsite at the store; applicants cannot work remotely. Only candidates with relevant UK qualifications and the legal right to work will be considered.
