Digital Content Associate

Position Overview

The Chicago Bulls are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Content Associate focused on photography editing and management. This position involves collaborating with the Bulls Content team to assist in photography shooting, editing, archiving, and distribution throughout the basketball season. The role also includes organizing and digitizing the team's analogue photo archives, ensuring all assets are accessible for use in various content applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the editing of photography during key content capture moments, including media days and retail shoots.
• Capture photographic and mobile phone content at games and local Chicago events such as brand activations and community partner engagements.
• Support the creation, editing, and dissemination of content before, during, and after games, including materials related to Bulls partners.
• Maintain and structure the Bulls digital content library to enable easy access for branded and organic content production.
• Lead efforts to physically organize and digitize the analogue historical photography archive.
• Provide creative insights for content across digital platforms during brainstorming and other sessions.
• Categorize published content to enhance reporting and audience analysis of the Bulls' digital channels.
• Occasionally contribute to content creation for Windy City Bulls and improve digital asset management processes.
• Collaborate with content teams in various capacities, including weekend assignments throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shooting and editing sports and event photography.
• Familiarity with digital asset management platforms such as Photoshelter.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar editing software.
• Strong attention to detail paired with the ability to execute tasks promptly.
• Understanding of social media trends across multiple platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a news-focused content approach prioritizing timeliness.
• Positive work ethic and attitude.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• Self-driven with a commitment to continuous personal and professional growth.

• Compensation is set at $20 per hour with eligibility for overtime pay.
