Delivery Driver

About the Role

If you prefer a set routine with familiar routes and customers instead of unpredictability, this Delivery Driver role at CHILL will suit you. Based out of our Yatala depot, you will be responsible for delivering chilled and frozen goods across South East Queensland using refrigerated vans. You will handle your delivery run from start to finish, ensuring timely arrivals, maintaining strict cold chain standards, producing accurate proof of deliveries, and representing CHILL professionally at every customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive refrigerated delivery vans according to scheduled routes serving regular customers.
• Load and unload freight safely, managing items up to 20kg in weight.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections prior to each shift.
• Record temperature data for pickups and deliveries to ensure cold chain compliance.
• Accurately capture proof of deliveries using mobile technology.
• Complete manifests and end-of-day reports meticulously.
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all customer engagements.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a current and valid Australian C-Class or higher driver’s license.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Prior experience in delivery driving is preferred but not mandatory.
• Comfortable with smartphone and delivery-related technology use.
• Physically fit for handling freight up to 20kg regularly.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts.
• Customer-oriented with a friendly and respectful approach.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, especially related to temperature checks and paperwork accuracy.
